As I move into the second half of my life I find it more and more difficult to mix and mingle, to put myself out there. I'd rather stay to myself and spend my time reading, writing, and art journaling. Or I spend my days with animals, walking dogs and pet sitting. Now I even enjoy camping solo. So being here, mixing with other poets, has me feeling vulnerable.
Write for ten minutes about how and when you feel vulnerable.
