OctPoWriMo Day 26

I just realized that with the ending of October, NaNoWriMo is going to begin. And yes, I'm wanting to participate this year. Looks like my days just got even busier as I need to quickly begin planning what I'll be writing.

Do you have plans for when OctPoWriMo is over, are there other poetry challenges you'll be participating in?

Poetry Prompts:

When I was young, I was singled out because of my red hair. Back then I didn't like being different. All I wanted was to be normal. It didn't take long for me to realize I actually liked being different and I never wanted to be normal again. What in your life made you different or the same? Write for ten minutes about being different or the same. What is normal anyway?

Word Prompts:

Abnormal (I'm hearing Abby normal in my head. LOL!)

Music and Dance:

Remember, our prompts are only suggestions, you can find your inspiration wherever your muse leads you. 1. have a great week! :)

Day 26 prompt. After Octpowrimo I will return to writing just two poems per week for Poetry and Stories United. Five more poems to go.

    1. That sounds good. I've decided to push myself to write one poem a week to get back on the horse. I've been struggling with it for too long. Thanks for participating this year!

  3. Day 26#OctPoWriMo2020

Being different is being unique for me and I embrace it wholeheartedly. This uniqueness should be celebrated not just today, but every day !

    It’s the free verse today.

  6. Day 26

  7. Off prompt - though it might be normal to people, you never know ;)

  8. Day 26

  10. I finally caught up. Here's something inspired by previous OctPo entries... or rather, by lines I didn't use in previous OctPos.

    Title: "Mask of Sanity"

  12. I came up with my original poetry form called Tappswave

  13. This is a little offbeat.

  14. Writing about feeling different... This is the first time I did. I don't have a recollection of the time in the classroom, but I remember sitting taking the test with the psychologist. I was barely 4. Some of my first visual memories. I can still see the oval, the shapes, the colours... Anyhow, I digress. Here is my entry for day 26.
